I've been in a serious writers funk. No inspiration, no motivation, and you, yes you. The reader, has indeed been without my unique brand of droppin' it. Well, today the inspiration has been found and the motivation has returned! This is ThrowBack Thursday and ya' guy is back up on it.
I'm dedicating this weeks post to that girl "Gangsta Boo!" Boo is the second female to grace "The Blog." Not being chauvinistic, but there just isn't alot of females emcees bobbin' the heads of real street cats.
Honestly, I'm breakin' the usual format of ThrowBack Thursday for Boo. Not because she's like that as an emcee/rapper, but because if what inspired me to write this post is true? Boo has got to be the stupidest bitch on the planet earth. Fuck that, the stupidest bitch in the damn galaxy!
I know shit is hard right now for everybody, unemployment's crazy, we've been in a recession for a couple of years. But damn, at what point do you start robbing fuckin' Dollar General Stores? When do you start sitting up in a huddle with the homies layin' out plans to fuckin' jack the Dollar Store?
It's alleged that on July 23rd of this year, Marcus Curtis ran up in a Dollar General Store in Olive Branch, Mississippi (think suburbs of Memphis), burner in hand, and forced the employees to empty the safe before making everybody get face down and jettin'. Curtis got popped and was charged with armed robbery following the lick, and later pointed at Boo as a co-hort. This is the kind of shit that can't be made up folk. But due to the assistance of Mr. Curtis, a warrant was issued for Boo. She turned herself in yesterday evening and was released on a 100k bond.
Anyway, here's to Lola Chantrelle Mitchell aka "Gangsta Boo." Keep ya' head up shawty, we still fuckin' wit' cha'!
